About Simone

I am a Software Engineer and Associate Lecturer. My work sits between professional software engineering and higher education, giving me direct experience of both how technology is built in industry and how future engineers develop their skills.
I bring both perspectives into every session: how engineering works in practice, and how to think clearly about the decisions behind it.

University teachingAssociate Lecturer in Computing at Anglia Ruskin University, teaching core computing subjects and supervising final-year projects.

Is this only career advice?
No. Sessions can focus on technical projects, software design, testing and automation, engineering practice, interviews, professional positioning or a combination of these within the selected Focus Areas.
Can you review my project, portfolio or GitHub?
Yes. We can review structure, technical decisions, documentation, testing, presentation and how effectively the work demonstrates your engineering thinking. The service is consultative: I will not build or complete the project for you.
How do I choose between a consultation and a programme?
Choose a consultation when you have one defined question or decision. Choose a programme when you need continuity, work across several connected areas or want time to apply feedback between sessions.
What happens before a programme starts?
After your application is reviewed, an accepted programme begins with a 30-minute planning session. We agree priorities, boundaries and a useful direction before the programme sessions begin.
Can you help with university assessments?
