About Simone
I am a Software Engineer and Associate Lecturer. My work sits between professional software engineering and higher education, giving me direct experience of both how technology is built in industry and how future engineers develop their skills.
I bring both perspectives into every session: how engineering works in practice, and how to think clearly about the decisions behind it.
Simone was someone I often turned to during university for practical advice, especially when navigating applications and the graduate job market. He had a strong understanding of what employers were looking for and always gave thoughtful, actionable advice.
His guidance helped me approach the job search with more confidence and understand how to present myself in interviews, which ultimately helped me secure a job after graduation.
I first met Simone in my first year of university, where he taught Software Principles. His lectures were clear, engaging and genuinely enjoyable.
Even after the module, I could book calls with him to talk about projects, careers or whatever I was stuck on. He became a mentor when I had no one else to turn to, and he's genuinely one of the good ones.
Simone is both a compassionate and fantastic educator. It is rare to come across a lecturer who genuinely cares about providing excellent technical teaching while also offering so much support to help students succeed after graduation.
He also supported us by organising and attending external events, giving us opportunities to network with real professionals.

We review, discuss and plan. I do not build or complete software on your behalf.
I will not complete, edit or provide answers for assessed academic work. Read the policy.
The work can improve clarity and preparation, but jobs, interviews and results cannot be promised.

Yes. We can review structure, technical decisions, documentation, testing, presentation and how effectively the work demonstrates your engineering thinking. The service is consultative: I will not build or complete the project for you.
Choose a consultation when you have one defined question or decision. Choose a programme when you need continuity, work across several connected areas or want time to apply feedback between sessions.
After your application is reviewed, an accepted programme begins with a 30-minute planning session. We agree priorities, boundaries and a useful direction before the programme sessions begin.
I can discuss general concepts and engineering practice, but I do not provide support for coursework, assignments, dissertations, examinations, assessed projects or other assessed academic work. Read the Professional Disclaimer & Academic Integrity Policy.
